Eleven shades of red, from the palest strawberry to the darkest ashes of roses, are used to stitch the petals of the vibrant poppies decorating the front of this superb evening bag.

Worked with a single strand of silk thread onto silk satin, the vivid red forms a dynamic contrast against the black markings, centre pod and stamens.

The bag is piped around each side in black and the back and interior covered with black velveteen.
