Stitched onto ivory wool flannel, this superb bouquet and circlet of white, yellow and maroon blooms also includes branches of tiny olives, pink blossoms and pretty variegated sprays.

Wool, silk and rayon threads plus touches of silk ribbon are used to work the flowers, stems and foliage, and the bouquet is tied with a stem stitch bow.

The blanket is backed and bound with cotton print fabric and finished with a co-ordinating print and sage green piping.
