Elizabethan Dragonflies

This evening bag is embellished with three dragonflies, inspired by and drawn from an Elizabethan black velvet long cushion (c1600).

The dragonflies can be embroidered on almost any type of background fabric and used as brooches, paperweights, box tops, or to decorate clothing.
