Description
The bumblebee is part of the larger bee family and is identified by its large, fluffy abdomen.
Feeding on nectar and living in small colonies, they are as important as pollinators as honeybees but are equally endangered.
Worked using Trish’s unique ‘Whitework with Colour’ technique with stranded cotton onto white linen, this spectacular specimen is adorned with a sprinkling of flowers, a subtle reminder of the unique symbiotic relationship they share.
