Description
Also known as the Indian oakleaf or dead leaf, this butterfly is a master of camouflage, its closed wings resembling a dried leaf but opening to reveal vibrant blue and yellow colouring.
It can be found in tropicalareas from Japan to India and prefers dense forests with high humidity where it feeds on tree sap and over-ripe fruit.
