Bella Dama - i120 Kit

Commonly known as pincushion flowers, scabiosa are members of the honeysuckle family and the beautiful lavender to blue flowers feature an outer ring of frilly petals surrounding a centre cushion of florets and stamens.

Portrayed here in stumpwork, hand-dyed silk threads and ribbons perfectly capture the subtle colour changes in the petals while frosted glass beads depict the plump cushion at each open and spent flower centre.
