Description
Combining surface embroidery, stumpwork and goldwork techniques, a majestic white swan floats effortlessly across the water on this delightful hanging ornament.
Worked onto silk dupion with silk, cotton and metallic threads, padding techniques are used to elevate the body from the surface while the wing is worked as a detached element.
Curls of silver passing form the waves and glistening glass beads add texture and are used to border the design.
