Description
Rich gold and deep blue form a striking contrast with the black background in this stunning goldwork study.
Jacobean in flavour, this elegant, stylised study uses a number of spectacular goldwork techniques to depict a flower accompanied by leaves, a bud, a pod and a sprig of acorns, all positioned on a small hillock.
A variety of metal threads and techniques are used including purl, passing and twist as well as silk threads to create this tactile design.
