Six sleeping doves are resting amongst the branches of a stylised tree, each branch worked in stem stitch and tipped with felt leaves in olive and old gold.

Simple techniques, detached chain, back, stem and straight stitch are used to decorate and appliqué the birds, making this an ideal project for those new to stitching. Cream piping edges the cushion and it closes at the back with three buttons.
