Remember Me - HP3 Kit

Inspired by a piece of vintage Hardanger found at an estate sale and worked by an unknown hand, Kim has re-stitched the spectacular star design, originally worked onto 60-count linen, using a more manageable 28-count fabric.

The central motif is worked with wrapped bars and dove’s eye stitch with the smaller, border designs using a pulled thread technique and satin stitch.

Serpentine hem stitch is used to form a lacy border and the mat is finished with picot edging.
