Subtle backsmocked waves echo the gently scalloped edge of the front yoke and the shaped front belt.

Embroidered with circlets of superb bullion roses, the belt is piped in soft pink and joins the lavish cream sashes at the side seams. Th­e collar and sleeve bands are also finished with piping and the dress closes at the back with mother of pearl buttons.
