Description
The elegance and precision of Japanese design are perfectly captured in this superb roundel, inspired by one of the many family crests or mon that feature the plum blossom.
One of the most popular motifs in Japanese heraldry, the stylised flowers and leaves are worked with a variety of gleaming gilt metal threads and stranded cotton in shades of strawberry onto a background of cream kimono silk.
PLEASE NOTE: The fabric requirements for this project call for either cream silk or vintage cream kimono silk, in this kit a piece of cream silk has been provided
