Description
"In creating this classical blouse, I wanted to use it as a vehicle to teach several things - how to take a basic pattern and adapt it to heirloom sewing techniques, how to get a truly professional finish to a blouse and how to make a collar with a stand (something I found frightened many of my students). The touch of silk ribbon embroidery has a feminizing effect without upsetting the classical look." - Beverley
