Description
Withdrawn or drawn thread embroidery is worked onto a fabric base where threads have been carefully removed in a grid, allowing patterns to be worked, creating a beautiful, lacy texture.
This charming trio of needlebook, pincushion and scissor fob are stitched onto natural linen with rich garnet thread with the stitching further enhanced with a lining of antique gold silk. Bordered with four-sided stitch, each piece is neatly finished with twisted cords and tiny tassels.
