Description

Fresh white daisies, detached leaves and tiny ladybirds are scattered across the lids of these fabric covered oval boxes.

One is made into a handy pincushion box with felt leaves and embroidered daisies, and the other a more sophisticated trinket box covered with raised stumpwork leaves and embroidered daisies.

The flower petals are created from needlewoven picots and each fluffy flower centre is worked in Ghiordes knots using three shades of yellow silk.

The spotted red elytra of each ladybird is fashioned as a detached piece, and glass beads form the glossy black eyes.
