Description
A well-loved bicycle, surrounded by a profusion of flowers rests against the wall of a cottage in this beautiful picture.
Worked over a silk print, the flowers and foliage are embroidered using a combination of silk ribbon, stranded cotton, perlé cotton and a variety of specialty threads.
Terracotta pots, felt padding and richly textured stitching add life and dimension to the image.
