Description
"I love the bright colours of the embroidery motifs and the way they contrast with the subtlety of the drawn thread work. I tried to convey a sense of happiness in the little characters. The running man appears to be leaping with joy and the woman and her children seemed so content I decided to unify them by using harmonious colours. A final whimsical touch is the 'real' plaits that two of the girls wear." - Jenny
