Description
The traditional embroidery of the Hardanger Fjord in western Norway has a long and interesting history, beginning late in the eighteenth century when linen was spun and woven in the home.
This charming doily features a traditional geometric design of hearts, outlined with kloster blocks and embellished with needleweaving and filling stitches.
Fresh, pure white fabric and threads give a crisp definition to this beautiful design.
