Description
Vibrant shades of carnation, violet and blue colour the dazzling plumage of this charming little bird, perched on the softly arched stem of a snow berry bush.
Stitched primarily with stranded silk threads onto a ground of ice blue silk dupion, stumpwork techniques are combined with surface embroidery, incorporating detached elements, needlelace and felt padding to create this charming scene.
