A sophisticated crewelwork design, featuring a handsome artichoke, persimmons, small flowers and bold leaves is worked onto linen twill with traditional English crewel wool.

Stitched in gentle shades of honeysuckle, iron grey and Jacobean green, the symmetrical design flows out from the central motif on graceful, scrolling stems.

Closing with a zipper at the back, the cushion is edged with a braid formed from the same threads that finishes with a tassel at each corner.
