Anemones

The anemone is a glorious addition to the garden, flowering from the middle of winter to late spring and displaying a ring of bright petals around a dark, almost black, centre, all held above lacy, green foliage.

Spectacular when grouped together, this cluster of pretty blooms utilises threadpainting to capture the bold colouring and subtle detailing of this delightful member of the Ranunculaceae family.
