On Monday it will be time to turn your Inspirations wall calendar to September, and this month's reveal is nothing short of delicious.

Mary Jo Hiney has struck a perfect balance between realism and practicality. The scissor fob measures a neat 4.5cm x 3.5cm (1 ¾" x 1 ⅜"), the exact size you wish every strawberry in the punnet could be, while the oversized pincushion comes in at 14.5cm x 8cm (5 ¾" x 3 ⅛"), an irresistible bounty of joyous fruit that brings an instant smile to your face.

Studded with sparkling glass beads to replicate the seeds, each berry is shaped in sumptuous candy apple red velvet, with sepals fashioned from folded organza and silk ribbon, and stalks formed with twisted cords.

Both are as good to look at as they are to use.
