Remembrance Day Stitched Tribute | Lest We Forget
7TH NOVEMBER 2025 - ASU #501
With Remembrance Day just a few days away, as we pause to honour those who served, thanks to UK designer Jo Butcher and her project In Flanders Fields, we can also pay tribute with needle and thread.

The name In Flanders Fields comes from Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae’s poignant poem, written during World War I, which immortalised the red poppy as a lasting symbol of remembrance.

In her design, Jo has combined a softly painted background with layers of golden wheat and vivid red poppies that seem to ripple gently in the breeze, each bloom representing remembrance and hope.
The result is a serene landscape imbued with both beauty and emotion.
Ready-to-Stitch kits for In Flanders Fields are now available - the perfect project to mark this meaningful time of year.

Instructions sold separately and are available as an individual pattern in both print and digital.
