It’s an old rule but still a good one, if you want to stand out simply add colour.

When it comes to creating delicate counted thread pieces with lace-like embellishments, typically we would expect it to appear in a white or natural linen colour palette.

Well, stand back everyone, lavender linen is coming through to brighten up your day!

Improve your repertoire of counted thread techniques and add a touch of unexpected colour to your life by working this pretty design onto soft lavender linen.

Yep, Lavendar and Lace is the only time Deborah has used a ground fabric that isn’t white or natural, and isn’t it a welcome change?

This piece is a perfect size to practise your stitching. The band sampler is made up into a dainty sachet, ideal for filling with something sweet-smelling to fragrance your home or as a container for a small gift.
